About Our Venues

Merchants of Fitness currently operating solely from Our Lady and St. Chad Catholic Academy, however over the coming months we will be expanding the range of facilities we offer as we add new booking options from other schools within our Multi Academy Family.

Our Lady and St. Chad Catholic Academy (A Specialist Sports College) is a Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the Fallings Park area of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England. The Building Schools for the Future program invested £7 million into improving the school, which was completed in September 2013.

The sport centre has recently received further funding which has improved some indoor sports facilities and has also been rebranded under the name of Merchants of Fitness. Operating on a not-for-profit basis, the sport centre is aimed at being a central hub in the Wolverhampton area with all surplus revenue being reinvested for the benefit of the local community.

Across the school, facilities available to hire include a 3G football pitch, classrooms, dance studio, function room, dining hall, drama theatre, grass pitch / sports field, fitness suite, IT suite, kitchen classroom, meeting room, netball courts, recording studio and sport halls.

Our lettings are open 7 days a week with closures only during bank holidays and extended opening hours during school holidays. There is parking available onsite and our friendly staff are always available to help. The site has disabled access with lifts available.
